Amornwat Buddhalertsak is a Thai film director, screenwriter,
and producer whose work explores human relationships, social issues, and contemporary
culture through film and visual storytelling. He holds a master’s degree in
Communication Arts from Kasetsart University.
His directing works include Memories of New Year (2018), a drama feature released across
Southeast Asia, Mask Land (2019), which received First Runner-Up at the Hong Kong ACBS
Film Art 2020 and screened at the Bangkok Asian Film Festival, and Tharae United (2023),
released on Netflix and True24. He also worked as Line Producer for the supernatural
series Curse Code (2024) on Prime Video.
Beyond directing, Amornwat has actively participated in international film markets,
festivals, and content development programs across Southeast Asia as a filmmaker,
mentor, jury member, and producer. His recent projects include The Webtoon Murders,
selected for ATF Connect+ Singapore 2024, and the animation project DUU BUU & SNACKY,
selected for Content Lab 2025 and Kre8Tif! ASEAN Digital Content Summit in Malaysia.
